Our solutions are deployed in production flows across broad industry segments such as leading display companies, automotive OEM suppliers, and top Memory, 5G, and IoT (internet of things) providers.Job DescriptionCellForgeTM is a unique software solution that automates standard cell layout development – the fundamental building blocks used in every modern chip – allowing IP providers and foundries to improve the technology behind smartphones, computers, and AI. The EDA group is looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills to be part of CellForgeTM team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in development and testing, contribute to creating automated flows, and familiarize yourself with the semiconductor industry standards.*This role required some in-person work and the role will be based in Porto Alegre, and we are looking for two Interns – each one with a different profile. • Stronger programming skills, including data structures, algorithms, and OOP – OR
• Knowledge in digital circuit design and layout, and programming

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to:

• Learn about standard cell libraries development using CellForge.
• Practice programming and testing skills to develop automated solutions.
• Perform case study analysis and write technical reports.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Currently enrolled in a BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering.

• Graduate-level preferred or undergraduates in their final 2-years (7th semester/10)
• Knowledge in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
• Experience working in Unix environments, GitHub, and system tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Interest and basic understanding of CMOS circuit/layout design.
• Knowledge in scripting languages, such as TCL, BASH, and Python
